About Breathers Porous Discs
These porous plastic filter elements allow free inwards and outward flow of air, while simultaneously preventing the passage of any unwanted substance. Breathers are generally used in situations where passage of small quantity of air is required, but there are also chances of transfer of undesirable particles.
The porous plastic Breathers prevent the inward and outward movement of pollutants.
Our porous plastic Breathers are typically used in machines and devices which require free flow of air. These products permit the air to flow freely, while preventing the entry of pollutants (dust particles, moisture, etc.), which may compromise the operational efficiency of the device. Simultaneously, the Breather also prevents contaminants from escaping from the machine into the atmosphere.
These porous plastic filters range from 1 mm thick to 100 mm thick, depending on the application. Over the last decade, we have sold several million of these porous plastic filter elements to industries and air filter manufacturers located across India, especially in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Punjab. Additionally, in order to ease the fitting process, we provide Breathers with external threading or self-threading, as required.
